From Dansville, take NYS Route 436 to the intersection with County Route 9 which leads you directly to the area. This WMA is located approximately 8 miles west of Dansville in Allegany and Livingston Counties. Rattlesnake Hill - 5,150 acres, upland, hiking trails, parking lot, birdwatching, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and trapping. Keeney Swamp Wildlife Management Area Map The area borders County Route 15B (Jersey Hill Road) and County Route 15A (Fink Hollow Road). This area is located in the Town of Birdsall, 13 miles northeast of the Village of Angelica and 6 miles southwest of the Village of Canaseraga. Keeney Swamp - 708 acres, wetland, parking lot, birdwatching, hunting, fishing and trapping. From exit 28 (Cuba) off the Route 17 expressway follow Route 305 north to the New Hudson Road intersection and take the New Hudson Road north. This area is located in the Town of New Hudson.
Hanging Bog - 4,571 acres, upland, wetland, hiking trails, parking lot, birdwatching, camping, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and trapping. Genesee Valley Wildlife Management Area Map From Interstate 86, take Route 19 north to Fillmore then head east on County Route 4 and take first left onto county route 27B. The area is located in the Towns of Granger and Portage, in Allegany, Livingston and Wyoming Counties. To reach the area from Coeymans Hollow, take County Route 103, north 3 miles to state land.Īllegany County Genesee Valley - 717 acres, lowland, rolling hills, fishing, hiking, hunting, trapping, wildlife observation. This WMA is located in the Town of Coeymans. Louise Keir - 119 acres, upland, parking lot, birdwatching, snowshoeing, hunting and trapping.
To reach the area from Rensselaerville, take NYS Route 85 north one mile, turn left on County Route 6, go 3 miles to state land. This WMA is located in the Town of Berne. Partridge Run - 4594 acres, upland, hiking trails, parking lot, birdwatching, cross-county skiing, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and trapping. To reach the area from Knox, take NYS Route 156 east 2 miles, turn right on County Route 254, go about ½ mile to the state land. Margaret Burke - 246 acres, upland, parking lot, birdwatching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hunting and trapping. To reach the area from Voorheesville, take NYS Route 156 north, turn right on Kling Terrace, go to the end to reach state land or take NYS Route 156 north 2 ½ miles, turn right on County Route 202, go 3/10 mile to the state land. This WMA is located in the Towns of Guilderland and New Scotland. Black Creek Marsh - 287 acres, wetland, hiking trails, parking lot, bird watching, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing and trapping.
